we deserve a world without war is my 11th poetry book ~ a pocket-sized project wrapped in a zine-inspired design. It features 17 new poems.
You won’t find it on Amazon or big-box sites ~ just here and in local stores. The digital version includes links to audio and video performances of the poems.
The print version is 4×7 and fits in your pocket. Made with intention.
Charleston, SC artist Riivo Kruuk created the cover.

to live through
the ache
of a decade
or the pulse
of a movement,
don’t open a textbook.
read the poets …
Charleston: Walking With Ghosts is a book by photographer David Edwards. David’s work beautifully and honestly captures Charleston in the ’90s. The book features 7 new poems and is also a collaboration with A$iahMae, Charleston’s current Poet Laureate.
dust, kick, and snare is my 44th album as tape loop. I used a polyend tracker mini to make the beats. It includes samples of New York subway sounds, my daughter on an airplane, and more. Inspired by hip-hop. The cover was created by Carrie Wooden // Collage Kitsch.
